Annual meeting 2020 of the Swiss Neurological Society SNS
together with the Swiss Society for Behavioural Neurology SSBN

Dear members of our societies,
Dear Colleagues

Herewith we cordially invite you to the 112th Annual Congress of the Swiss Neurological Society (SNS) together with the Swiss Society for Behavioural Neurology (SSBN) on Thursday, 19 and Friday, 20 November 2020.  Due to the pandemic, the congress will take place virtually for the first time in history of the Swiss Neurological Society. The full programme can be followed in English online by live stream.

A virtual implementation has the advantage that the presentations can be called up on the congress website up to three months after the congress. With your login you can follow the presentations in order to get the education points.

The focus of the SNS Annual Meeting will remain unchanged with the following topic: Acute Neurology in Practice and Clinic. The scientific committee, whom we would like to thank here for their commitment, has prepared a challenging and interesting programme despite the difficult circumstances. Spread over two days, in a total of six sessions and two keynote lectures, selected national and international experts will give presentations focusing on their experience and the latest developments in clinical practice and research. The following topics will be discussed: headache and vertigo, acute neuropsychiatric disorders, stroke, neuroimmunological emergencies, neurointensive care and acute movement disorders. The two keynote lectures on "epilepsy and encephalitis are held by two world leading experts.

In addition, selected abstracts will be presented as oral presentations or ePosters on the website. Last but not least, we will also offer a platform for our partners and exhibitors from the industry.

Although the congress will take place virtually, we look forward to sharing these two conference days with you. We are convinced that they will certainly be exciting and enriching.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in virtual form as soon as possible and in large numbers!
